It's Monday!  What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. Posted: Review: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, read by Jim Dale Review: Under the Tuscan Sun by Frances Mayes A link to my interview at It's All in the Details Review: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami Guest Post from Taylor M. Polites, author of The Rebel Wife Read: Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell--Woo hoo! I feel like I have ruined my eyes reading this tiny font, but I'm done! I loved it! Currently Reading: Ice by Sarah Beth Durst Footsteps in the Dark by Georgette Heyer Room by Emma Donoghue, read by Michal Friedman et al. Up Next: Now that I've finished Gone With the Wind, I need to choose a non-fiction title for my before-bed read. I had started reading GWTW everywhere just to try to finish it. I'm leaning toward On Writing by Stephen King. Some friends and I just started a book club, and our first choice is Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. I'm excited to read it, but it's another chunkster, so I'll have to start on it soon. I'll probably finish Room in the next day or two, so I need a new audio as well. Any suggestions? I think I need something fluffy after Room! What are you reading this week? It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday!  What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. Posted:Review: The Thorn and the Blossom by Theodora Goss Review: Rise of the Evening Star by Brandon Mull Review: The Ice Limit by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child Saturdays in the South with author Olivia deBelle Byrd: Southern Funerals or He Just Woke Up Dead Read:Um, nothing. Short lunches at work combined with a surprisingly busy (for me--the introvert) social life last week, meant that I didn't get much reading done. But I had a good time and met some new friends! Currently Reading:The same as last week. Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell--I admit it. I am loving this. You are all right; I'm kicking myself for not reading it earlier. The Bookseller of Kabul by Ã…sne Seierstad, translated by Ingrid Christopherson--I like it. I'm mostly withholding judgement at this point. I will say that one chapter so far has been absolutely perfect. Footsteps in the Dark by Georgette Heyer--Fun fluff. It's easy to read while I sweat away on the elliptical machine. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, read by Jim Dale--I have to say that I was sort of not really seeing what all the fuss is about. But things are starting to finally come together and make sense for me. Up Next: I might finish The Night Circus and The Bookseller of Kabul, so I'll be looking for new audio and non-fiction picks. Right now, I'm thinking about Room by Emma Donoghue on audio and On Writing by Stephen King. Any opinions on either of these? What do you think of the new look? I remodeled today as a way to avoid the baleful stares of the many, many, many books that are waiting to be reviewed. What are you reading this…
