It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. I missed posting last week, so I’m not sure where I left off. I think these are from the past week.
Read:
The Dark Divine by Bree Despain–Not my favorite. 3 Stars.
Cleopatra’s Daughter by Michelle Moran–Really good! 4 Stars
The Vision of Emma Blau by Ursula Hegi–Probably suffered from interruptions. 3 Stars
Everlasting by Angie Frazier–Lots of fun! 4 Stars
Currently Reading:
Oral History by Lee Smith. I just started this one and I’m not sure that it’s what I’m in the mood for. I may put it aside for now. I do love Smith’s work though.
Up Next:
I definitely need to get to Thumbing Through Thoreau, a book of quotations compiled by Kenny Luck.
What are you reading this week?

Glad to hear you liked Everlasting! I can't wait to read it! 🙂
My Monday post is here. 🙂
I liked Cleopatra's Daughter as well and finished up Thumbing Through Thoreau last week. Jinx, you owe me a coke!
I own the Dark Divine..hope i like it!! Plus I need to read Cleopatra's Daugher too!!
Enjoy your reads!
I loved Cleopatra's Daughter. Apparently the author is venturing away from Ancient Egypt in her next book. Oh, and I actually do have the Boudica books by Manda Scott! I've read the first two, but the other two are still waiting to be read. I really liked them. It has been a few years since I read book two, but I'm glad the books include a thoughtful summary in the beginning of each. Makes up for the gap in years for me!
So sad! I was really hoping you would like The Dark Divine, but then again, not everyone can love everything. Hopefully your next read will be amazing!
Have a fantastic reading week and if you get a chance, stop by: Monday Reading's at There's A Book
I am curious about Oral History. I've read a few of Lee Smith's books — she's a terrific writer.
