Weekly Update at Introverted Reader

Welcome to my weekly update for November 29, 2015!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving/week! We ate too much and had a great time visiting with family. I avoided the Black Friday crowds completely and just stayed home while my husband was at work. Did any of you brave the madness?

Up Next:

It’s the end of the year so that means I’m going to start frantically trying to finish up my reading challenges. I haven’t even looked to see where I stand with most of them, except for The Eclectic Reader Challenge (Two of my current reads are for that one). In other words, I’m not sure.

What are you reading this week?

  1. I hate crowds. I get highly irritable. I'd rather pay that extra for quiet shopping but I only have a few to buy which is great since I'm knitting six gifts and have four down already. It's great you had a nice Thanksgiving. Ours was lovely as well.

  2. No way on the Black Friday madness. 🙂

    You had a good week.

I love your side panels. 🙂

    ENJOY this week.

  3. My reading challenges fell by the wayside this year. 🙁 Maybe next year!

I didn't venture out either – the Boy and I stayed home while my husband worked. I don't usually go, my husband generally goes with my sister-in-law while I go to breakfast with my brother. Lol. This year was different though, which was fine. 🙂 Glad to hear that you enjoyed your holiday!

  4. No Black Friday shopping for me either… I just hate all the crowds! In the Kingdom of Ice is on my wish list. I'll probably go the audio route when I get to it, it got some great reviews.

  5. Like you I am focusing on challenges at the moment! I want to finish The Eclectic Reader challenge, have a couple more to go. I would be hopeless with all the food at Thanksgiving then Christmas, I think its the sight of food just is filling!!

  6. I wouldn't be braving Black Friday sales if I lived there, no bargain is worth those crowds lol. I love challenges, I do actually complete them but I fail completely at linking up so no more sign ups for me!
Have a great week and happy reading

  7. I stayed completely away from the shops on Black Friday…I don't like crowds in the best of times, but definitely avoid them on the holidays.

Glad you were able to stay away, too.

Enjoy your week…and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  8. No Black Friday here! I stayed home (luckily had the day off) and watched Netflix. Felt good to be lazy. 🙂 We had a good Thanksgiving too, it was nice.

I'm trying to decide what challenges to do for next year, I picked one and may do another, but I keep 'em to a minimum cause I know I won't finish most probably. LOL.
