Welcome to my weekly update for December 28, 2015!
I hope everyone who celebrates had a wonderful Christmas and everyone else had a great week! Did you get some goodies? I got quite a few bookish gifts.
The Dictionary of Imaginary Places by Alberto Manguel; an adult coloring book; a puzzle featuring a bunch of book covers; The Sleeper and the Spindle by Neil Gaiman, illustrated by Chris Riddell; Lonely Planet’s Beautiful World; and then in front a Pop! figure of Tyrion Lannister and some book earrings.
I used one of my Barnes & Noble gift cards today to buy The Martian by Andy Weir and Waistcoats & Weaponry by Gail Carriger.

I love that when you click the link for the Dictionary of Imaginary Places book, it says that the book "is for use in schools and libraries only." I like the idea that there would be forbidden places to read it… 😉
Looks like a great bookish Christmas! I love the Imaginary Places book, and Beautiful World looks great too. And what a cool puzzle! Glad you had a good Christmas. 🙂
I've never read Maltese Falcon, I really should. Have a super week and happy New Year!
That puzzle is so cool! What a great gift for a book lover.

My It's Monday, What Are You Reading
Great bookish gifts. I am tempted to buy The Martian but want to read a few more from TBR mountain before I do. Here is what I read last week. Happy reading!
Nice gifts! I love the earrings! Coloring is certainly becoming a popular pastime for adults. I am planning a coloring program for adults at the library in January. I got myself a coloring book too and some color pencils. I just need to find some time to devote to it!
Happy New Year!
Fantastic bookish gifts – all of them although specially love the 1000 piece puzzle and the earrings. Enjoy 'em all.
