I hope everyone had a great week! My husband and I volunteered to be balloon handlers in our local holiday parade yesterday through my job. It was a little windy so that made it a little interesting. Our hands are still cramped from hanging on to the ropes! It was a lot of fun though.

I haven't really taken to Rick Riordan but can understand his appeal to young readers – will really have to read those novels in order.
Happy Thanksgiving! I loved Girl in Translation and thought the audio book was fantastic too. I also really liked The House of Hades (though I prefer the narrator for the first 3 books over Nick Chamian who reads the last 2). That series and the Percy Jackson series are some of my favorite YA books.
I loved the audio versions of the Lunar Chronicles and I hope to listen to Winter eventually. I like reading the books in print and then listening to them in audio later. That way if I miss anything while driving it doesn't matter 🙂
The parade sounds like fun! Have a great Thanksgiving and I hope you enjoy your books!
The cover of The Winter Palace is gorgeous. I am going to check that one out. Do you have pictures of your balloon handling? Brrrr!
The Winter Palace sounds delightful. Have a wonderful holiday
Some nice-looking books.
The Winter Palace is catching my eye.
The parade sounds fun even though it was cold.
Have a great week.

Big balloons? Like Macy's parade? Sounds like fun. Enjoy finishing up your books this week. This is what I read last week. Happy reading!
Looking forward to your Winter Palace review.
I love the look of The Winter Palace….enjoy! Thanks for sharing, and have a great week.
That sounds like fun! Hope you guys have a super Thanksgiving week.
New background image? Looks nice.
Great mix of books! Girl in Translation sounds really good! I'm studying my MA in publishing in London right now, so I'll be celebrating Thanksgiving from across the pond. 🙂
My It's Monday! Post
The Winter Palace has a beautiful cover and I am sure all historical readers will enjoy it.
You have an interesting set of books. The Winter Palace and Kingdom of Ice look like they fit with the cold weather tonight!
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Reading.
