I haven’t had too much going on lately. I had to travel to Denver last weekend for work. I always find these quick trips across time zones to be exhausting. I don’t know how people who regularly have to travel like this do it!

The Weight of Blood has been on my TBR list forever! Did you like it?
I only occasionally traveled for work, so I enjoyed it. But after retirement, when I thought I would love traveling, I realized that I just didn't….not if flying was involved. LOL
I have In the Woods on Pippa, and I thought I would have read it by now. I'm not sure why I'm hesitating….
Enjoy! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Oh wow, much of the titles that you shared here seem perfect for our current mystereadventure reading theme til end of December. I will have to check most of them out.
I expect the Rick Riordan book is very good on audio or hope it is anyway. Happy reading for the week.
Traveling to different time zones is exhausting. Hope you enjoyed In The Woods.
I've heard really good things about Tana French and want to try one of her books soon. That one looks good.
Business trips can be tiresome, I know a guy who is literally always on the road and he doesn't seem to mind, but I wouldn't like it.
Looking forward to your thoughts on In the Woods. Happy Reading!!
I think I have Winter Palace somewhere hidden on my Kindle. Catherine the Great was important in my family history (no not related to her; we are German-Russian)
A student gave me a copy of In the Woods years ago but I haven't read it yet! I am curious to see how you like it!
Secondhand Souls by Christopher Moore looks like a lot of fun!
