Nothing. Where does all my time go?

Read:
Cover of A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly

A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly. This was a re-read for my book club. I won’t review it again but you can find my original review here. (Hint: It’s one of my favorite books.)

Currently Reading:

Grave Peril by Jim Butcher

Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie, translated by Ina Rilke, read by B. D. Wong

The Trivia Lover’s Guide to the World: Geography for the Lost and Found by Gary Fuller

Sanctus by Simon Toyne (I know some of you are waiting to see what I think of this but I only read it while I’m at the gym. It’s good so far and I only have about 75 pages left. It’s still going to take a little while though.)

Up Next:

I haven’t even opened Grave Peril yet so I don’t think I’ll get to anything new. I do have Sweet Nothings by Janis Thomas and This Dark Road to Mercy by Wiley Cash waiting in the wings though.

Happy early Thanksgiving to everyone!

  1. Sanctus sounds good, I clicked on it because I'm not familiar with it and now I'm curious. What's up with those monks I wonder? May have to check this one out.

  2. A Northern Light is, by far, one of my favorite books ever!

As for me, I started When Autumn Leaves by Amy S. Foster, and I'm still working through Grimm's Fairy Tales.

  3. A Northern Light looks tempting…enjoy your reads, and have a great week. Here's MY WEEKLY SUNDAY/MONDAY UPDATES

  4. Yay! So glad to see A Northern Light on someone's blog, I just love that book as well. Can't wait to see what you think of Sanctus either. Have a great reading week and Happy Thanksgiving 🙂

  5. I've never read A Northern Light and have to confess I don't even know what it's about! But I do see it pop up on Top Ten Tuesday lists as it seems to be a favourite of many. I really must remember to look it up one day!

I loved Balzac, read it years back for a book club; I can't remember much about it but I think it was the writing that I enjoyed mostly. Probably if I'd read it at a different time of year I wouldn't have liked it at all!

  6. I still haven't read A Northern Light though I loved Revolution and I also want to try her series for adults. Happy Thanksgiving!

  7. I don't know where all the time goes, but if you find it let me know 😉 The Dark Road to Mercy is on my wish list

    Have a great reading week,
