It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
Over the past week, I’ve
Read:
Nothing! I haven’t finished even one book! A Storm of Swords is killing me. I’m loving it, but that 973-page monster is taking me forever to read. Now I know why I typically read longer books in the winter; I have more time to read them.
Reviewed:
The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan–Still love this series
Without Reservations: The Travels of an Independent Woman by Alice Steinbach–Like a European vacation with a well-read, intelligent friend
Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson–Was not a fan of this one. Maybe if I had read it when I was younger I would have liked it more.
Currently Reading:
A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin
Seabiscuit: An American Legend by Laura Hillenbrand
Everlost by Neal Shusterman, read by Nick Podehl
Up Next:
I’m not even going to throw anything out there. I’ve got my fingers crossed that I might finish Seabiscuit and Everlost, but if I do, I’ll just think about this when I get to it.
What are you reading this week? I hope your week was more productive than mine!

What do you think of the audiobook Everlost? I love listening to books and I'm always on the hunt for good ones.
How are you liking Everlost? It was one of the only Neal Shusterman books I liked.
You did so well. Come, have a look at what I read last week!
Here is my Monday: Mailbox/What Are You Reading?/Musings post!
Those huge chunksters never used to bother me when I was younger! Maybe I feel the need to read a large number of books…Hmm.
Hope you enjoy your reading this week.
Here's MY MONDAY MEMES
Hmm, 1,000 page books can be fast or they can be slow… Maybe it's not even worth spending all that time on? I've put some books aside recently that I just didn't like enough to finish.
Happy reading this week, if you get round to it!
Every so often that happens to me too, slowed down by a large book. I don't mind so much when I am enjoying it even if it can feel a little frustrating.
My son did his diorama on The Battle of the Labyrinth this year.
I finished ten books this week which actually surprises me because I hardly did any reading during my usual fun reading time. Come see what I finished.
I have a hard time with larger books like that too, so I completely understand! Good luck this week 🙂
Please feel free to stop by my Monday.
