It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
Over the past week, I’ve
Read:
Fluke: Or I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings by Christopher Moore, read by Bill Irwin
That’s the only one! At least I really, really liked it.
Reviewed:
The House on Tradd Street by Karen White–3.5 Stars
Mary, Called Magdalene by Margaret George–3 Stars
Daughter of the Blood by Anne Bishop–4.5 Stars
Currently Reading:
A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin–I am still loving this series
Seabiscuit: An American Legend by Laura Hillenbrand–Thoroughly enjoying this non-fiction pick
Everlost by Neal Shusterman, read by Nick Podehl–I’ve barely started this audio, so I don’t really have an opinion yet
Up Next:
If I finish any of these, it will probably be Seabiscuit. My next non-fiction book will probably be First Person America by Ann M. Banks.

I'm glad that you are enjoying Seabiscuit! I've only seen the movie, but that was when I was a kid so the movie didn't make much of an impression on me. I'm looking forward to it now though.
Sounds good. I'm sure I saw a movie about Seabiscuit not so long ago. 🙂 Have a great week.
I've heard good things about Seabiscuit…looking forward to reading your review of it.
My It's Monday post can be found here.
I want to read one of Margaret George's books. I have the one on King Henry.. just haven't read it yet. I guess the Mary Magdalene book was just ok?
Glad to see you're still on a George R. R. Martin kick…I really need to start that series!
Unfortunately I have only been averaging one to two books a week lately, but school is almost over and I am planning a major read-a-thon soon. Have a great week!
I have Storm Of Swords on my TBR pile. I think I am going to have to read the first one again though as it was so long ago.
I thought Everlost was okay. I much preferred Unwind.
These are all new to me. Enjoy your books and have a wonderful week. My Monday: rundpinne.com/2011/05/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-39.html

I've heard such great things about Christopher Moore, I keep meaning to pick something of his up!
Please feel free to stop by my Monday here.
I like Fluke! This week I finished up the manga I had on hand. I typically read an issue over my morning cup of coffee. Come see what I'm reading this week.
