Welcome to my weekly update for October 010, 2011! It’s Monday What Are You Reading? is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Halloween around here! I’ve been posting reviews of horror-ish books and diving headlong into more spooky reads. I’m hoping to devote Character Connection to villains this month as well.

I don’t really expect to finish any of these this week. If I do, I’ll move on to The Curse of the Wendigo by Rick Yancey.

I was iffy on reading Heart-shaped Box, but your review makes me want to read it! Happy reading this week.
Love the subtitle of The Penderwicks!
I haven't heard of any of these books but I will definitely check them out.
I did some Halloween reading this past week, too, although they weren't too spooky. Stop by my It's Monday post if you get a chance.
I'm going to try and read some Lovecraft before Halloween! I loved Heart Shaped Box and really need to pick up Horns!
Happy Reading!
So many good titles! I read the Penderwicks last summer and I think it is a great kids book. Both The Replacements and Curse of the Wendigo sound good!! I might have to read one this month.
I loved Horns, but Heart Shaped Box scared me too much to finish!
I've heard some interesting things about The Replacement. Did you like it?
I am also reading The Replacement. I guess it was a pretty normal week of reading for me. Please come see what I've read.
I am not familiar with any of those I have to admit but I definitely hope that you enjoy them.
You've had a very big reading week. I embarrassed of mine compared to yours.
I just bought my niece the Penderwicks for her birthday this summer. I read it a while ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Of the books on your list, I've only read The Replacement though I do have The Everafter. I am interested in finding out more about Ballad of the Whiskey Robber though. What a great title!
I enjoyed Horns and I just started Heartshaped Box. I look forward to your review of Replacements, I have been intrigued.
