Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl prompted us to post about our own topic pertaining to love this week. I tried to think of something a little off the beaten path. The obvious choices to me are favorite romances, book crushes, or book couples. But when I think of love I think of my sweet husband. He’s not a huge reader but he does have a goal to read one book per month. So here are ten of my husband’s favorite books.

Three that have stuck with me from your husband’s favorites are Clan of the Cave Bear, The DaVinci Code, and The Shadow of the Wind (this one made me determined to visit Barcelona!)
Same! Barcelona is very high on our travel bucket list.
Great idea for a list! I wish we heard more men’s voices in the blogging world. I often wonder why most of us are female.
It’s a curious question. There are plenty of male readers. Is blogging seen as a more female hobby?
Nice interpretation of the topic. Unfortunately my husband doesn’t really read anymore, though he has read two of your husband’s: The Clan of the Cave Bear and the Da Vinci Code. And we saw Shutter Island the movie. Good books, all.
My husband doesn’t read much but he does usually have one book very slowly on the go.
What a great theme! I really liked The Book Thief and Shutter Island myself. My husband doesn’t read as much as he used to, but he does enjoy reading from time to time. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks!
I love The Book Thief and Peace Like a River, too. I wonder if my husband would like the Enger book?
It’s worth a try. I think it reads a lot like a Western.
Interesting! A very eclectic list. I enjoyed THE DA VINCI CODE, THE BOOK THIEF, and PEACE LIKE A RIVER. My husband is a reader, but not really of fiction, so our book tastes don’t really gel. He says I never take his book recommendations – yeah, because they all sound like major snooze fests! Ha ha.
Happy TTT!

My husband doesn’t like the pressure of checking books out of the library and knowing there’s a due date so he’s stuck reading the books on my shelves. I did get him a used Kindle last year so he’s started branching out on his own.
This is a really sweet way to interpret this week’s theme!

Thanks! I don’t think my husband has even seen it yet 😀
LOL! 😀
I love this topic, that’s really cool! I am planning to read The Book Thief this year.
The Book Thief is my very favorite book. No pressure.
I’ve always kinda wanted to read Auel’s books.
I read the first one as a teenager and I remember that I liked it. My husband read this before we even met. He read five books of the series but apparently the last one he read was terrible.
Nice idea abd nice list! Dissolution, yes, it’s a great series
Dissolution is a good series. I’ve read four of the books but my husband is one or two further along than I am.
Neat list. I like what you chose for a topic. I couldn’t get into The Book Thief when it first came out, but I might try it again. The Shadow of the Wind looks good. Thanks for sharing.

The Book Thief is my very favorite book but I can see that it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. The Shadow of the Wind is beautifully written.
Awww what a lovely way to interpret this week’s topic of love 🙂
Thanks! I tried to be a little different.
I loved The Clan of the Cave Bear. I’m still holding out hope that series will be made into a tv show someday.

My husband is more of a TV person than a book person, so I think he would love a show based on Clan of the Cave Bear. But he has occasionally experienced the disappointment of shows/movies that aren’t as good as the books, so maybe he wouldn’t….
