Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl invited us to share our top ten hilarious book titles this week. One series immediately leaps to my mind but other than that…we’ll see what I come up with!

Since You’re Leaving Anyway, Take Out the Trash (Domestic Equalizers #1) by Dixie Cash–This entire series has hilarious names! Leaving means leaving the relationship, not just leaving for work.
My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell
The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror by Christopher Moore
The Liberal Redneck Manifesto: Draggin’ Dixie Outta the Dark by Trae Crowder, Drew Morgan, and Corey Ryan Forrester
No Country for Old Gnomes (Tales of Pell #2) by Delilah S. Dawson and Kevin Hearne–The first book in the series has a good title (Kill the Farm Boy) but the third one is also funny (The Princess Beard)
The Sweet Potato Queens’ First Big-Ass Novel: Stuff We Didn’t Actually Do, But Could Have, and May Yet, written and read by Jill Conner Browne
Horrorstör by Grady Hendrix–This one might only be amusing until you know that it’s about a haunted Ikea knockoff store and the book looks like a furniture catalog.
Mama Makes Up Her Mind and Other Dangers of Southern Living by Bailey White
Gulp: Adventures on the Alimentary Canal by Mary Roach
Sorcery & Cecelia: or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot (Cecelia & Kate #1) by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer
That’s my list! Have you read any of these? Did the titles at least make you smile? Which books did/would you choose? Link up every Tuesday at That Artsy Reader Girl!

Great list! I think all of the Mary Roach titles I’ve seen are funny, though sometimes it’s that uncomfortable kind of humor. 😉

I love Grady Hendrix, but haven’t gotten to read Horrorstor yet. It’s on the list though! Also, cozy mysteries always have the best titles.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I loved this post. Here is my post-https://paigesofnovels.wordpress.com/2022/08/09/top-ten-tuesday-most-recent-additions-to-my-tbr/.
I have a Christopher Moore title on my list too – his are usually pretty funny and I actually think most of his books are funny in a warped way…..that would be a weird brain to visit! 🙂 I read Horrorstor too and that was different….. Great list.

Oh I’ve heard really good things about The Durrells (well the TV show anyway, but I assume the books it’s based on are also good!).

What a great list! The Dixie Cash title definitely made me laugh and the punny No Country for Old Gnomes one did as well 😂 Love it!
All the Mary Roach books are books I found slyly humor. And, reminder to self: I haven’t read that one yet.
I loved The Sweet Potato Queens! I can’t remember where I came across that book, but it made me laugh and cured a bit of homesickness too.

I considered GULP this week, too. Interesting book, though. I tweaked my TTT list this week
These are fun! I like Horrorstor but it sounds kinda scary lol! Leaving made me laugh too!
